@RedRagedRooster just because you are born deaf doesn't mean anything. she thinks in English, she types and writes in english, she signs in english.. being deaf only means you can not hear. thats it... she was born and raised in the US... if she was born and raised say in Spain she'd be signing and lip reading and writing/typing and then thinking in spanish and probably a little english from learning in school.

@RedRagedRooster she learned what language because when you look up how to sign it asks you what language. its easy to tell the difference. and she learned to read lips out of practice. if you watch countless interviews of her talking about how it was for her growing up she mentions this. about being around people who don't know sign language. and she makes sense of it because its kind of like charades.

This girl is inspirational, fun to watch and a good person. At Freestone 2011, after she won moto 1, Ashley was stepping down from the podium and on her way to her trailer in a mule. My sons and I signed to her from the podium fence that we loved her and good job. She saw us, stopped the mule, hopped off and ran over to sign all of our stuff. You don't need to hear to know this girl is a class act. It was special.

You mean when she kicks the bike sideways? That is not a trick it is something riders do to stay low on the track and carry more speed over jumps, its called the "Bubble scrub" after James Stewart who was the first rider to show how it can lower lap times.

Oh my riding days are long behind me, and yes Renner has a mean whip but we are talking about scrubbing jumps here not doing freestyle stuff and far as i know Renner nor any freestyle dude is considered on the level of the top AMA pros for doing scrubs off jumps to lower lap times.

By the way Jojo Keller was doing scrubs off jumps before Bubba was even born, he just didn't get the press for it at the time.
