Actually this was in 1986, the year that it was also simulcast .... if you buy the DVD it's the same year...I'm in it which is why I know and I wasn't in the Aust Ballet in 1990!

I am always for switching up the dynamics in choreography , but this piece I think needs to have a cosistent flow , I have come accross alot of ballerinas that go from 1 to 100 miles an hour, especially coming out of the first arabesque its like they turbo charge then back to adagio then turbo again , I dont think this reflects well on the story of gisselle being frail

all that jumping she does on pointe from 1:14 to 1:29 is incredible difficult!!!
