I was creating a stick figure animation

First i grouped the whole charachter

Put the character at one place then press F6 after around 8 frames and apply tween on the frames,and the character moves perfectly, but when i apply motion tween upon its body parts sepratly(i grouped the body parts made from brush tool seperatly) the right leg of the chracter is displayed while the other get invisible.

Help please!

how do you add sound? and how do you make the flash pictures move like the ones in brawl taunts and nin10doh? do they make all the individual pictures or do they make an effect?

To add sound.

1.Ctrl+R

2.Go to properties. In Flash 8 Pro, it is on the bottom.

3. Find the word on sound. You will see "None" selected. Pick the sound you just imported.

In the nin10doh collection, they use frame by frame and tweening. It is extremely easy to tween.

Fame By Frame(FBF)..not so much...But the results are well worth it.

In order to have a clean animation when using FBF, you should use Onion Skinning.

It allows you to see the previous frame, and trace it to animate. Try it!

Flash MX, has less features. (To me)

My favorite version of Flash to use is. Macromedia Flash Pro 8

It is a very stable program. =) And there is hardly any crashes, or slowdowns. But it is STILL a good idea to save frequently. You dont want to risk losing your hard work.

Thanks for your very good replies, I expect flash 8 is a more stable prog as Adobe tend to make things a bit bloated - their Photoshop is very good but need a lot of memory etc.

I am learning to do things in Powerpoint 2007 right now! I can do most things that i need - animation etc. Its a surprising programme and so simple!

Flash MX.. It is really good for learning. It doesnt have any of the extra Filters on it.

Flash 8 is my favorite! It has everything you need to make a professional flash, and great action script utilities.

Adobe Flash cs4 is what I use now.

I say, they are all basically the same.

Same layout etc. The same amount of bugs.

The newer the version, there ARE better features.

I can explain to you in dept if you like, on everything there is in the different flashes. =)

can u do a platformer tutorial like how i made my one because not many people put tuts on about platformers so watch me playin my platformer i made and see if ucan make one like that because i cant be bothered anymore to make games so im makin cartoons but i know that theres alot of people such as myself before who wants to make a cool platformer but cant so if u do this i bet u would be popular ^_^ bye.
