@Littlechickwithakiss I'm from Slave Lake as well and people didn't know if their homes were still standing until they issued a lot by lot map showing which houses burned. That wasn't done until after a week from the evacuation.

So much damage. Equal parts awful and amazing, how quickly and randomly the fire spread. Some houses skipped while their neighbours burned to rubble. At 4:50, the flags outside the destroyed Town Hall are even still flying. It's a haunting sight.
