  • Hey this is a great explanation :)

But, i'm from Venezuela and I don't understand too much what you say, ¿Can you tell me which strings you play on each chord? ¿Anyone?

  • g for a bar, a for a bar..... - what the f does this mean ?

  • ur really good at the guitar but the song u played sounded a little off key i reccomend tuning p.s. could u do "sweet home alabama" possibly?

  • all the other vids say you have to have a capo on your guitar to make it sound exact. why dont you have one? and how are u making it soundn higher

  • hey could you like do an excakt video of the chorus?? i still don't get it =((

  • Try watching it a few more times and read the info in the info tab

  • Thanks for the easy arrangement and exceptional instruction. One of the best lessons Ive come across, and you dont have the typical d bag attitude of the guitar instructor. good show cheerio and right and rock on.

  • best lesson I've ever seen on any song period. u taught this so perfectly clearly and simply that my brain is trying to jump out of my head to give u handshake and a hi5. thank you Mr. Handsome Alvin

  • Wow what an awsome comment, I really appreciate it, thankyou very much!!!!

  • I didn't get the A* thing .. how do you play it?

  • Check out the chord diagrams and tabs at the start. The A* you are playing the A bass note and the B and high E strings while holding the A chord shape, the A bars you are playing the A bass note and the G and B strings while holding the A chord shape.

  • Great, thank you very much!

  • No problem glad you liked it!!!!

  • by G and A do u mean like playing G and A chord together? or just the strings?

  • No I mean play the G chord for half a bar and the A chord for the other half just like I said in the video.

  • This is a wonderful lesson. It helps alot. Thank you.

  • No problem, glad you liked it.

  • This is a very good Lesson. Way better then some others that I've seen.

  • Thanks

  • we have the same name wooo and great lesson!!!!

  • Thanks and you must also be a good guitar player then also :)

  • what exactly is the A* chord again?

  • Check out the chord diagrams, same shape as A chord just playing different strings (from top 1st, 5th and 6th)

  • very nice lesson .. thankyou

  • and thankyou for your comment

  • easy to learn, simple to look if there's a choice i would giv u 6stars~

  • Thankyou again very much!!!

  • nice.... you rule~!!

  • Thanks

  • Darn it! I am no good when it comes to the F chord

  • Yeah it's a little tricky, just keep on practicing!!!!

  • All you need to do is move your middle finger to the second fret on the second string and your ring finger to the fourth fret on the fourth string - no need to cover the three thinnest strings if it proves too tricky. Other than that... yeah, keep practising, mate.

  • Thank you for sharing this!! your explaination are so good and easy to follow, thank you.

your covers are also very good :)

  • Thankyou very much for you comment, I really appreciate it!!

  • man this is great thanks so much!

  • No problem, thanks for the comment

  • I'm New On A Guitar And Don't Know How To Play The G F D And All That... You Know A Place I Can Learn Them..?

  • All of my videos contain chord diagrams at the start which tell you how to play all the chords used in the song.

  • This was great, thanks!!

  • and thanks for the comment!!

  • Hi, I'm french and your lessons are a real pleasure for beginners. You're a precious help for us, your videos are explained perfectly. No problem for understanding !

That's why I've registered to write my commentary =D

    Thank you, dude ;-)

  • Thankyu very much for the nice comment!!!

  • LMAo.... you used GP5 didn't you =-]

  • For the screen shot I did for the tabs, when I learnt this song I could not find a GP version so I tabbed it out myself.

  • alight =-]

    cool =-]

    lol

  • thanks for teaching me how to play that song

  • Thanks for wathcing and commenting!!!

  • this video seems really good but i dont actually know how to do those chords - i'm a beginner. where can i learn them?

  • Have a look at the chord diagrams at the start of the video, they show you what strings to play for what chord. This is not really a beginner song, you should try something like my lesson on Knockin On Heavens Door first.

  • thank you. the only problem i have though is that it kindof muffles because my fingures slitely touch the other strings. is there any way, beside twisting your had, to fix that?

  • Make sure that you are pushing down the strings with the tips of your fingers not the pad of your finger and make sure you curl your fingers so they don't touch the string below it.

  • ok thx for the advise, and is it possible to play this with a pick? or should u just stick with using your fingers?

  • You could try but fingers are probably easier.

  • ok, when i used my fingers its kindof hard. do you have a preferance on wich fingures to use?

  • As I said in the video, thumb for bass notes and first and second fingers.

  • ok thanks. ill comment on your chat if i have questions on other songs. ill also probobly make a vid of me playing this song. if i do ill send it to you and you can tell me what im doing right and what im doing rong. thanks again for the help.

  • ha im a beginer and now i know it by heart :P

  • Awesome, well done, most beginers have trouble with this song but obviously you are not most beginers. Great work!!!

  • You look like zac young from desperate housewives!! nice playing...

  • Not sure if that's good or bad but thanks for the comment!!!!

  • lol i should probobly learn the notes befor i try this one.

  • Yeah it's not really a beginner song!!

  • tnx this ones for the talet show after sum metallica

  • That's right just play the solo out of One nd then follow up with this!!!

  • lol.....ok

  • 15 you say? LOL! I'd still be at...hmmm, take 300 I'm sure. =)But I'm determined & with determination comes success, right?

Thanks James. Looking forward to more.

  • Definately, determination and practice is all it is, there is no secrets when it comes to guitar just practice and determination!!!!

  • Fantastic! You're making this all so easy for me...okay, maybe not easy just yet, but really fun to learn. And you are so easy to follow...kudos & fingersnaps for that! =)

  • Thanks, this one is a little bit tricky so yes it does take a while, when we did the cover of this one it was one of our first and it took about 15 takes to get it right!!!

  • thanks James..another good lesson.but I haven't check the cover yet..hehe

  • Thanks!!!
