This is really beautiful! Especially the second verse, perfectly transitioned. I very much appreciate what you were trying to do here, and I think the genre change translated fairly well. However, I wouldn't hesitate to straight up change the lyrics to fit the slightly new feel of the song. A lot of the words he inserts are purely to fit the medium/rhythm of what he does (the way he says 'ma' and 'motherf*ckin'), and at least in my eyes, you have the right to do the same.

The lyrics actually sound retarded in this context. I prefer Big History's version. It has a James Blake feel and the lead singer is fucking sexy.
