What about the loss of detail putting baby powder on the cast? Also, want to recommend a distance and type of arm movement when spraying? How much powder? Doyou ever spray through a nylon stretched over a coathanger to get a finer and more even layer each time? When do you decided to use an airbrush instead of the can?

Can you use other painting methods on resin? Like acrylic paints? And would I still need a primer for that?

It is allways a good idea to use primer over a resin surface.
