The Eee pc is an lot better. They have am simple GMA booster for the Eee pc that boost the speed from 200mhz to 400mhz.. Also you can install cccp codex and have codeavc h and have the codeavc decode it.
ty for posting this. im hopeing to get the Samsung Q1 Ultra Premium soon to use as a portable internet pc and some basic gaming. ive seen fear,world of warcraft and sims 2 running nicely on it.
And I understand completley about what you said on the Xp vs Vista.
2 weeks after i got my Samsung Q1U i downgraded to XP. HUGE performance boost. then about2 weeks ago i upgraded to 2gigs of ram, and another performance boost.
I havnt tried watching HD videos on my beefed up Q1U but I should make a video and reply it to yours.

this isn't an accurate test, you had two totally different OS's running.
Vista takes up quite a bit more CPU power than XP does, run it again... this time with the same OS and i'll believe it
