Nuclear energy is not cheap or clean or safe. It takes 10 years to built a plant and billions of dollars before one watt of electricity is gotten. It uses enormous amounts of water, the excess hard to re-use and dispose. Refuse from nuclear plants was recently buried but only up to 1975's. I would rather see all that money developing solar, batteries, wind, hydro etc. Germany and Japan get 60%+ of their energy from the sun.

Yes, this is historic health care reform. If the bill passes, it will drive all private insurers out of business, mandate that people pay for something that the don't want, and eventually leave us with government run health care, at twice the cost and half the quality.

If they were treated the way they treat the lives of people who have paid their premiums for years and who have done nothing more than get sick, they would not be alive.
