Great paint job. I kind of wish that she weren't giving "bedroom eyes," though. The balloons symbolize fun and innocence. That and the bright, cheery day seem to contrast a little bit with her expression. Still, amazing work on your part.

When you said your projects sometimes end up looking kinda grainy after working on them for a long time - work in 16bit color instead of 8.

love it, nice to see other people get those lines in their paintings, always seems like its when your near the end of a project you find those dragged lines of paint....a real project to get rid of it.

may just be that i am the type to get to the detail way too quick and be obsessed with it... however, it would be cool if there were the harder lines/contrasting tones to make those lines. smooth is nice, but i usually like the strokes to be left behind somewhere. or i guess if its smooth then maybe have it commit to being partially cartoonish or picture realism.

anyway, too much rambling prolly.
