well, this effect is good, but the way you shot it was something only other filmmakers or wanna bes like me would understand.. It looked like the car was stopping on its own without any extra effects and it didn't look that great.. but it was very clean.. so well done.. maybe stop time with something harder to freeze in reality. :D

if you know how to use a green screen it is simple. but it looks good :)

you dont need a green screen to do this, you can easily (well, depending on your skill level) create it on after affects by filming the same area twice with seperate things happening, and then when the video is 'frozen' you mask the car so that it is the only thing showing and then it gives the illusion that the person is walking around it... there is a tutorial somewhere..

if car is driving allmost over you or something like that. sometimes it can feel that the time goes slower so then you have more time to think like what you should do but you can not be faster ofcourse.. once i jumped down from the roof from second floor and time went so slowly and i was like "wtf?" it felt like that i would hitted in ground after 15 seconds :D ..really

Yeah I can't feather the layer anymore otherwise it would feather into the car. The time between driving the car past and walking the sun got covered by clouds which threw off the auto white balance.

I would love to do that but you need a robocam set-up to run the scene with the same camera motion with each element and some major 3ds max training. If you watch the special features on the Season 1 DvD they have a walk through of one of the freeze scenes.
