  • I'm sorry to say so but inabidi, we would rather be colonized by any other country than this English men. Look at countries like Senegal who were colonized by the French they got lots and lots of there players in France but poor we Kenyans we got no single player in the English league, guys you got to change your jerzies and teams that you support.

  • Sincerely I´ve been made to believe that the British people have no respect for Kenya and the Kenyans. One, Kenya is the lone standing symbol of the British colonization in the third world. Besides, Kenya is an English speaking nation and is a Commonwealth member state. It is so stupid that there players from so many non-english speaking nations in the Premier League, yet a player from a traditional english speaking country is being denied a work permit. Shame on the UK!!!

  • SORRY TO SAY BUT YOU PEOPLE ARE FUNNY MAN. ISN'T BRIT THE PLACE WHERE A LOT OF KENYANS ARE GOING TO RIGHT THIS MINUTE TO GET ASYLUM? AND CLAIM BENEFITS??? HAHAHA STOP TALKING THROUGH YA ASSS ABOUT BRIT SUCKS!!!

sorry man I just had to get the facts out there man. real talk!!

  • Mc D is better in Nerrazulis. He might regret big pay check from Man City but thats about it. Head to head Inter has rich history and big names such as Ronaldo, Zidane, Luis Figo have played there. I don't remember any big name that turned out for Man City.

  • What a shame!! Even despite having a british name "McDonald"!

  • so it all applies to everyone outside the eu, my question simply was, why in mother africa's name are we still in the commonwealth??, league's such as the francofon/west african 1 have special preferences whn dealin wth france.i say we get out tht shitty organisation, its nt servin us any good bein there

  • rules are rules but if he had applied for the 2010/2011 he would have been granted a work permit.

look at Uganda's Dennis Obua. He is playing for Hearts in Scotland yet Uganda was ranked below Kenya two years ago (way below 70th position). So all is not lost.

However Mariga should remain in Milan. I do not see City qualifying for champions league

  • rules are rules , these work permit rules apply to all non e.u players from america to timbuktu, so its unfortunate this chap is caught up in this situation but shouldn't the focus be on improving the national team management and by extension the fifa ranking so this situation doesn't impact on the next generation of brilliant young kenyans, its all about being pro active

  • Why is kenya still in commonwealth? to remind us of the colonial times and the modern day colonialism while talented individuals are denied a chance coz they come from such and such country? Britain sucks...Problem with us kenyans is that we seem to have no standards. U get a work permit just coz u are from another continent,...May God save my country kenya

  • I am happy Mariga wont end up here in Britain. This country sucks, so he is not really missing much. What this has done however is to give him an opportunity to appeal, while increasing his value due to inter's involvement. It could be a win win situation for him.

  • Guys..lets not be so sticky and hotheaded. The Premiership rules apply to all countries of the world except the EU. we should be asking ourselves why our soccer is so fucked up. The problem with Kenyans is that they want shortcuts in everything. if you break laws in Kenya, do not expect British to break their own laws too.sort out your crap in KPL, etc. Even what Raila was trying to say on TV is absolute crap.he was sent by the British High commission to try mend "image" of UK.

  • Inter is a better team than Man city, champions league football beckons. The brits can fuck off

  • FORZA INTER ESSIEN WELLCOME !

  • Is this the same Britain that is always in Kenya's business, spending a lot of time discussing Kenya in its parliament? The British ambassador to Kenya needs to answer to Kenyans as to why Mariga was denied a work permit.

  • Well it is easy for a drunkard, lazy, talentless, low skilled brit to come to Kenyan and land a work permit without breaking a sweat but it is not so easy for a talented Kenyan to have the same treatment in Britain.

  • fukin brits, what the hell r we even in the commonwealth 4.go big mac.

  • Commonwealth??? a shity organisation that we should have pulled out of long long ago. what benefits do we get from being in it? nothing.

  • Go Boy Go...talent sells!
