@Sanguiluna The story of him accidently shooting his wife whilst high as a kite is true. She put an apple on her head and he tried to shoot it, killing her instead. This is whats so fascinating about this work. William burroughs was all about cut+paste pastiche, so whilst he probably would have been a bit unconfortable with it, he would have approved, particularly with the way both him and winehouse (perhaps correctly) where portrayed as hopeless junkies.
