I knew as a kid that there was something odd about him, but I couldn't figure out what it was. I also thought that about another notable 1970s game-show panelist, Charles Nelson Reilly. It was a few more years before I found out they were both gay.
December 24 at 8 o'clock in the morning, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Johnson was found dead. Doctors couldn't come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened. Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn't repose a chain letter. The reason he delivers the lines so quickly people, is that the jokes are all prewritten, and rehearsed. Paul Lynde was amazing but lets not pretend that these lines are from the top of his head!

@studio21tv Comedians can't be that funny anymore because they can get away with so much more, thus they don't have to think as much in order to get around the you-can't-say-that-on-TV rules (written and otherwise).
I forgot how funny Paul Lynde was! I remember once they asked him, "Paul where is your uvula?"
and he says, "at a bus stop in Guatamala".....really funny guy!

In a different clip, Paul correctly identified the United States form of government as a Republic - and not a democracy. Pretty smart guy!
