How do these people sleep at night. How can they let them go away with. Both parties are at the same direction riding different animals.
That was hilarious and unbelievably sad at the same time. They may have steered cleared of being charged with something but nothing will take away the fact they are the huge fucking idiots.
we would all love to see your proof of your statement. and the best way for you to respond to me is with the voting record for W. and the voting record of Hillary side by side so we can compare the two and see who is the better person! Kucinich and Gravel are libertarian /left and Ron Paul is libertarian/right. Ron Paul is the only one with a real chance.
Gosh, if the Justice Department itself is compromised, and senior officials have stated that they will undertake no prosecutions of JD officials, how is it that one is supposed to obtain an indictment. As far as I'm concerned the Democrats in Congress are doing exactly what we sent them there for. At least with regard to investigations and oversight.
I hate to take you all off on a tangent, but if you try to leave a comment on newsbusted, you get the message "comment posted pending approval" Why is it that liberal sites trust the public say what every they want, but the Republican You Tube videos posters get to control what people can say about their videos?

Anyone here still admit voting for the party that put these disgusting people in office? If so, you OWN them!
This country doesn't suck, just its current executive branch. But that will change Jan. 20, 2009, when we can put all this corruption, lying, and incompetence behind us. Hold on, help is on the way. Nothing can stop it short of totalitarian martial law. Oops, shouldn't be giving BushCult any ideas...
I feel bad for John Tanner...I know exactly what he meant by minorities dont age like whites. Minorities have shitty health care is what he meant. He is a dumb public servant what can you say.
and gobble, tanner and his "so called" christian neo con party of you know "family values" fights every step of the way to prevent these minorities from getting any kind of health care.
gobble: Yes, he was only pointing out that minorities don't last as long as whites because of a relative lack of health care. He was clumsy, but that's all. If anything, he was making a comment about something that needed (and still needs) addressing.
lovisaw: I think we cannot know what he was doing in the original context. In an actuarial or statistical context, it might have been a way to very cynically call for improvement, as in, "Of course, we don't have so many elderly minorities, 'cause they're already dead." I've read someone's description of the event who was there, and they said he was trying to say it in a way that would point a little attention at the disparity in health outcomes and mortality.
Are you kidding me?????? What liars. Minorites don't become elderly, they die first? Man I wish I had been ther for that statement. And these people are supposed to run our country? This is disgusting
did you notice his accent? it certainly wasn't that of a yankee.
to me it just verifies the fact, those below the mason/dixon are ignorant bigots, have always been that way, and will continue to be that way until their god calls em on it...which will be never, because theirs is not the real god!
OUCH, I've lived beneath the Mason-Dixon Line my entire life, as has every generation I'm aware of in my family tree. While I appreciate where your generalization comes from, it is just a generalization that doesn't reflect our great diversity. The South is an area of incredible transition, in part because so many Northerners are transplants here. I remind you that GWB is from New England originally; he only pretends to be from the South.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
jena 6 is typical of the south today dafttool.
it's teaming with ignorant, hateful bigots, lead by "so called" christian baptists/evangelists/fundamentalists.
the only transition happening down there is money...and that money does nothing to change the hate white southern bigots have for everyone not like them.
trust me the south is a hateful bigoted embarrasment to the original 13. it is NOT what our founding fathers envisioned for the USA!
Jena is typical of a small, remote town in Alabama, more reminiscent of Laramie, Wyoming where Matthew Shepherd was strung up than the rest of the South. Small minded bigots live all over this great land. The modern South is much larger than that and in no way is homogenous.
sorry, jena is typical southern hospitality to blacks, jews, gays, anyone not like them, & now u can add mormons to that list.
stop bullshitting america...it's not working. the south the really the step child of america. the only thing it has that is decent is the martin luther king center in atlanta. the rest of it is a wasteland of ignorance & bigotry.
until u really make major cultural & religious changes, keep bullshitting the rest of the south. no one else believes it.
wntoply6, Interesting that you mention MLK. Did you not catch the part about the "content of their character," and not the color of their skin -- or for that matter religion, geographic location, sexual orientation, ethnicity etc.
When you paint an entire group with the brush of bigotry and ignorance, you are doing the exact think MLK preached AGAINST his whole life.
yes he did, so tell me why is the south still so tied up in hate, bigotry and ignorance?
you people always have what you think is a smart come back, but you always evade the facts. that's you're problem.
until you face the reasons why you hate as much as you do, you can evade all you want, but america knows what your people represent and worse yet, still embrase!
wntoply6, you just don't seem to get it. "The south" isn't tied up in hate. There are some, perhaps many, people in the south who deserve those labels, but your argument goes off the tracks when you accuse the entire "South." Why is it so hard for you to grasp such a concept?? Is this a Freudian projection problem with you??
clean up your fucking hate filled image then we won't label the south has the american hateland. until then you deserve every bad name you get!
just look and the god damned relegious crap that you broadcast worldwide. it's full of hate and bigotry.
please, viyour, pointing out bigotry and hate as i am doing does not make me like you people, indeed someone needs to speak out loudly about the sham you people live.
what's even worse or, more to the point extremely insulting is, with your history of intollerance, bigotry and hate, your "so called" TV preachers are trying to pass you haters off as the moral compass of america.
hell i'd rather make hitler the moral compass of the USA before i'd let you bigots in the door.
wnt: Interestingly, your stereotypes perfectly exemplify the thinking processes of all bigots, now and in the past. That is, having an unswerving set of beliefs about a group of people, attaching those beliefs unremittingly to all mewmbers of the group. Displaying hateful prejudicial affect. But I'm sure you meant this as parody, right?
one other thing...your continual denial about the south & it's history, just because you say so, does not make it go away.
your history & legacy was and is to this day still disgusting on many levels!
only fucking air conditioning has spared you a 2nd chance, & with all indications, the south continues to be bigoted, full of hate, and has a habit of lying in god's name!
The only one sounding hateful here is you by characterizing one entire quadrant of America and its great diversity of people in such an unflattering light, paying more attention to past history than the present day. I repeat "small minded bigots live all over this great land." The way you are attacking me personally, as well as everybody else that lives down here, without regard to our diversity proves my point.
sorry daft, pointing out injustice, hate and bigotry does not make one part of that group.
it's time america stood up and asked you to stop the bullshit you practice down there, led by your rich tv preachers. you're the laughing stock of america!
the south has a bad name that's translating to a national reputation of a country full of religious hating nuts.
Just because a MINORITY exhibits bigotry, that doesn't make the MAJORITY bigots. Those aren't MY preachers anymore than they're yours. Atl gets a pass w/you for having the MLK Center. What about Miami w/its Holocaust Museum? The South's incredibly diverse, yet you paint ALL w/a broad brush. 10% are gay. There are more blacks in the South than North. Cubans & Jews run S FL. Hispanics of every variety are scattered throughout. You describe only a minority of whites as if they represent all.
wntop: I'm from the outside looking in just like you, but unlike you, I see quite a bit of diversity. You're a person who is full of stereotypes and prejudice, and more than that, I can see you're a sociopath. You're really into name-calling and blaming. It's a sickness with you.
Kraskp, you're exactly correct. Having been born and raised in FL, I can attest to what you are saying. And you make my point (to wntoply6). Southern states are NOT homogenous, in fact FL is only considered in the South due to geography. Yet his characterization of the South disavows there being any difference between any of the Southern states, ignoring their modern demographics or sensibilities.
souther fl is not like southern states. it's inhabited by northerners, cubans, puerto ricans & internationally by people who would not tollerate the hate, bigotry & intollerance SO typical of the south.
stop denying the truth just change it!3
your worst enemy is your tv evangelists. do you see any of them based in the north?
wnt: Yours is the logic of a child. Just because all televangelists are based in the south doesn't say all people in the south are into evangelical stuff. Some are, but as you have demonstrated, you can't see the wide diversity that occurs all over the south.
So now S FL & Atl are OK w/you. What about C FL? The Research Triangle in NC? Is it educated enough for you? What about S Texas? It's pretty much Mexico. Dallas recently beat out SF, NYC, Chicago & the gay mecca Hotlanta ranking as the most cosmopolitan gay city in America. Almost any city w/a major uni is more a college town than it is a bastion for bigotry. You need to "stop the denying the truth" that the South has changed considerably. The Civil War & Jim Crow policies are long gone.
I told you I understand where your generalization comes from, but that it is only a generalization. You act as if the South is filled w/ignorant racist redneck hillbillies, when it is every much as diverse as the rest of America, if not more so. Even the GOP are losing their grip on the South; watch the 2008 election if you don't believe me.
And I repeat, they aren't MY preachers. They're to be ignored. The more attention you give them, the more power you give them.
fringe: The problem with the guy who talked about the minorities is that he is right. As he attempted to state, he said something clumsily. OTOH, he is entirely accurate. People in minority groups are less likely to become elderly because they die sooner for various reasons. He was basically guilty of stating a truth.
Surprised? Bush & Co, along with all the corrupt Republican Bush-dogs has been running a coup; that is treason! Bush & Co needs to be impeached and put on trial for War Crimes committed against the American people, and against humanity! My God, they have tortured people in America's name; they have sent thousands to their deaths for Bush lust for power and greed!

ismaOVERSIZEDSHADES 4 years ago
This country doesn't suck, just its current executive branch. But that will change Jan. 20, 2009, when we can put all this corruption, lying, and incompetence behind us. Hold on, help is on the way. Nothing can stop it short of totalitarian martial law. Oops, shouldn't be giving BushCult any ideas...

Bradley J. Schlozman sounds like such a pussy.

You should hear the way they say "Bradley Schlozman" on the Stephanie Miller radio show. Very funny.

I feel bad for John Tanner...I know exactly what he meant by minorities dont age like whites. Minorities have shitty health care is what he meant. He is a dumb public servant what can you say.
gobblegobblechew 4 years ago 2
and gobble, tanner and his "so called" christian neo con party of you know "family values" fights every step of the way to prevent these minorities from getting any kind of health care.
wntoply6 4 years ago
I just saw the last Michael Moore movie "sicko" about 10 minutes ago. Its not just minorities missing out on health care.
gobblegobblechew 4 years ago
yes, thanks for that important factual addition.
wntoply6 4 years ago
gobble: Yes, he was only pointing out that minorities don't last as long as whites because of a relative lack of health care. He was clumsy, but that's all. If anything, he was making a comment about something that needed (and still needs) addressing.
nicholas9999 4 years ago
I certainly agree that it needs to be addressed, but based on his tone there I very much doubt that he has any interest in doing that.
lovisaw 4 years ago
lovisaw: I think we cannot know what he was doing in the original context.

Fringe111 4 years ago 4
did you notice his accent? it certainly wasn't that of a yankee.
to me it just verifies the fact, those below the mason/dixon are ignorant bigots, have always been that way, and will continue to be that way until their god calls em on it...which will be never, because theirs is not the real god!
wntoply6 4 years ago
OUCH, I've lived beneath the Mason-Dixon Line my entire life, as has every generation I'm aware of in my family tree. While I appreciate where your generalization comes from, it is just a generalization that doesn't reflect our great diversity. The South is an area of incredible transition, in part because so many Northerners are transplants here. I remind you that GWB is from New England originally; he only pretends to be from the South.
dafttool 4 years ago 3
This comment has received too many negative votes show
jena 6 is typical of the south today dafttool.
it's teaming with ignorant, hateful bigots, lead by "so called" christian baptists/evangelists/fundamentalists.
the only transition happening down there is money...and that money does nothing to change the hate white southern bigots have for everyone not like them.
trust me the south is a hateful bigoted embarrasment to the original 13. it is NOT what our founding fathers envisioned for the USA!
wntoply6 4 years ago
Jena is typical of a small, remote town in Alabama, more reminiscent of Laramie, Wyoming where Matthew Shepherd was strung up than the rest of the South. Small minded bigots live all over this great land. The modern South is much larger than that and in no way is homogenous.
dafttool 4 years ago 3
sorry, jena is typical southern hospitality to blacks, jews, gays, anyone not like them, & now u can add mormons to that list.
stop bullshitting america...it's not working. the south the really the step child of america. the only thing it has that is decent is the martin luther king center in atlanta. the rest of it is a wasteland of ignorance & bigotry.
until u really make major cultural & religious changes, keep bullshitting the rest of the south. no one else believes it.
wntoply6 4 years ago
wntoply6, Interesting that you mention MLK. Did you not catch the part about the "content of their character," and not the color of their skin -- or for that matter religion, geographic location, sexual orientation, ethnicity etc.
When you paint an entire group with the brush of bigotry and ignorance, you are doing the exact think MLK preached AGAINST his whole life.
pot/kettle/black
voiyour 4 years ago 3
yes he did, so tell me why is the south still so tied up in hate, bigotry and ignorance?
you people always have what you think is a smart come back, but you always evade the facts. that's you're problem.
until you face the reasons why you hate as much as you do, you can evade all you want, but america knows what your people represent and worse yet, still embrase!
wntoply6 4 years ago
wntoply6, you just don't seem to get it. "The south" isn't tied up in hate. There are some, perhaps many, people in the south who deserve those labels, but your argument goes off the tracks when you accuse the entire "South." Why is it so hard for you to grasp such a concept?? Is this a Freudian projection problem with you??
voiyour 4 years ago 2
clean up your fucking hate filled image then we won't label the south has the american hateland. until then you deserve every bad name you get!
just look and the god damned relegious crap that you broadcast worldwide. it's full of hate and bigotry.
please, viyour, pointing out bigotry and hate as i am doing does not make me like you people, indeed someone needs to speak out loudly about the sham you people live.
wntoply6 4 years ago
potkettleblack, hypocrite, look in the mirror, lol.
nicholas9999 4 years ago 2
what's even worse or, more to the point extremely insulting is, with your history of intollerance, bigotry and hate, your "so called" TV preachers are trying to pass you haters off as the moral compass of america.
hell i'd rather make hitler the moral compass of the USA before i'd let you bigots in the door.
wntoply6 4 years ago
wnt: Interestingly, your stereotypes perfectly exemplify the thinking processes of all bigots, now and in the past. That is, having an unswerving set of beliefs about a group of people, attaching those beliefs unremittingly to all mewmbers of the group. Displaying hateful prejudicial affect. But I'm sure you meant this as parody, right?
nicholas9999 4 years ago 2
one other thing...your continual denial about the south & it's history, just because you say so, does not make it go away.
your history & legacy was and is to this day still disgusting on many levels!
only fucking air conditioning has spared you a 2nd chance, & with all indications, the south continues to be bigoted, full of hate, and has a habit of lying in god's name!
wntoply6 4 years ago
The only one sounding hateful here is you by characterizing one entire quadrant of America and its great diversity of people in such an unflattering light, paying more attention to past history than the present day. I repeat "small minded bigots live all over this great land." The way you are attacking me personally, as well as everybody else that lives down here, without regard to our diversity proves my point.
dafttool 4 years ago 4
sorry daft, pointing out injustice, hate and bigotry does not make one part of that group.
it's time america stood up and asked you to stop the bullshit you practice down there, led by your rich tv preachers. you're the laughing stock of america!
the south has a bad name that's translating to a national reputation of a country full of religious hating nuts.
wntoply6 4 years ago
Just because a MINORITY exhibits bigotry, that doesn't make the MAJORITY bigots. Those aren't MY preachers anymore than they're yours. Atl gets a pass w/you for having the MLK Center. What about Miami w/its Holocaust Museum? The South's incredibly diverse, yet you paint ALL w/a broad brush. 10% are gay. There are more blacks in the South than North. Cubans & Jews run S FL. Hispanics of every variety are scattered throughout. You describe only a minority of whites as if they represent all.
dafttool 4 years ago 3
daft: Well said. Lol, how about this guy demonstrating the very thing he is arguing against. Ironic.
nicholas9999 4 years ago
the truth hurts doesn't nicholas999!
like i said why is it when one points out a truth, those who are the subject, deny, then blame the messenger?
tell me why pointing out the south is full of bigots & ingnorant haters puts that person in the same category?
because i have the courage to say what america thinks makes me a bigot too? hardly!
sorry you people need the courage to change & that begins with your TV bigoted ministers!
wntoply6 4 years ago
wntop: I'm from the outside looking in just like you, but unlike you, I see quite a bit of diversity. You're a person who is full of stereotypes and prejudice, and more than that, I can see you're a sociopath. You're really into name-calling and blaming. It's a sickness with you.
nicholas9999 4 years ago
Okay, nobody thinks Florida (except the Panhandle) is the South. Least of all Floridians. Florida is cool, for sure. The South is not -- at all.
kraskp 4 years ago
Kraskp, you're exactly correct. Having been born and raised in FL, I can attest to what you are saying. And you make my point (to wntoply6). Southern states are NOT homogenous, in fact FL is only considered in the South due to geography. Yet his characterization of the South disavows there being any difference between any of the Southern states, ignoring their modern demographics or sensibilities.
dafttool 4 years ago
souther fl is not like southern states. it's inhabited by northerners, cubans, puerto ricans & internationally by people who would not tollerate the hate, bigotry & intollerance SO typical of the south.
stop denying the truth just change it!3
your worst enemy is your tv evangelists. do you see any of them based in the north?
wntoply6 4 years ago
wnt: Yours is the logic of a child. Just because all televangelists are based in the south doesn't say all people in the south are into evangelical stuff. Some are, but as you have demonstrated, you can't see the wide diversity that occurs all over the south.
nicholas9999 4 years ago
So now S FL & Atl are OK w/you. What about C FL? The Research Triangle in NC? Is it educated enough for you? What about S Texas? It's pretty much Mexico. Dallas recently beat out SF, NYC, Chicago & the gay mecca Hotlanta ranking as the most cosmopolitan gay city in America. Almost any city w/a major uni is more a college town than it is a bastion for bigotry. You need to "stop the denying the truth" that the South has changed considerably. The Civil War & Jim Crow policies are long gone.
dafttool 4 years ago
I told you I understand where your generalization comes from, but that it is only a generalization. You act as if the South is filled w/ignorant racist redneck hillbillies, when it is every much as diverse as the rest of America, if not more so. Even the GOP are losing their grip on the South; watch the 2008 election if you don't believe me.
And I repeat, they aren't MY preachers. They're to be ignored. The more attention you give them, the more power you give them.
dafttool 4 years ago
wnt: You're the only one who thinks the south is the laughingstock of America.
nicholas9999 4 years ago
I especially agree with your last sentence
Fringe111 4 years ago 2
fringe: The problem with the guy who talked about the minorities is that he is right. As he attempted to state, he said something clumsily. OTOH, he is entirely accurate. People in minority groups are less likely to become elderly because they die sooner for various reasons. He was basically guilty of stating a truth.
