Negative thoughts do naturally enter our mind, and it's something that has to be maintained constantly. I like the part where you talked about how you shouldn't take your foot off the gas pedal and hope your team will duplicate.
Ray you really tell it like it is, specially when it comes to being a true team leader. I spent 35 years working for the Gov. both as a civilian and military and their idea of what a leader and mentor is, is really messed up. Your right on about listening to motivational and skill building tapes they will keep you in the positive mindset. . Thanks for all the great info you provide, your proof that you can go from ground zero to the TOP.
Ray I like the fact that you emphasized that you must avoid complaining to your team. As a teacher you must show them exactly what to say and what to do two things. Gather a few customers and teach others the same thing.
Also you must sound enthusiastic. People will move away from a a boring leader. If one had a bad day, they need to go take a walk to get them back on track.
This is one great video, Do what you learn from this great videos and go forward to power your business and ignore the ifs and nos as we must put them aside and out of our way to success. Noe Idrogo
It's funny you mention Kalamazoo. I consider Kalamazoo to be a pretty big city.
I live out in the country and I'm preparing to do weekly meetings in Fort Wayne, Indiana which is 60 miles away. Fort Wayne is the second largest city in Indiana, but it is not much bigger than Kalamazoo.
Living in the middle of nowhere is not an excuse to fail, but a challenge to succeed.
Great video Ray... love your message. And you're right... I've never seen a leader yet that was a complainer... every leader I've known takes a problem, analyzes it and searches for the best solution. Thanks for the video.
