I own a black 98 vr-4 that looks identical to that one.

What psi are you running?

I'm running it at about 15.5psi, and the only thing thats beaten me on the street is a Ferrari.

Biggest and best upgrade I can recommend to you is to get oversized cams. The VR-4 reaps HUGE benefits both in acceleration and top end, easily adding another 50hp to your setup. Good luck to you sir.

I'm in the same boat.. want a VR4.. but ended up with a skittle. (skittle = nickname for SRT4) I also have a 95 SL Automatic.. slow. Hope to sell the 95 and get about a 95 or 96 VR4..

(anyone know how easy/hard to find aftermarket parts are for the VR4's?)

aftermarket parts for these cars are cake to find... just cost 3 arms and 2 legs...yes that means u have to borrow a friends ha. 3sx has the widest selection that ive found

NEVER sell the skittle. Those little things can hold their own against a wrx sti! And thats sad considering the skittle is fwd and the sti is awd. But thats also its weakness. Adds 400lbs more than your packing.

i know my budyy has a 340 AWHP wrx. but there just heavy cars period. u need mad power to make those tanks move but id rather be safe in a 5 star crash rating car over light and quick

i have a SL, but that thing is slow without FI.
