In england ur allowed only theses sorta pistols with long barrels but theres an m1911 with a mock silencer which makes it look better than the long barrled pistols (silencer isn't removable)

Silver, Hell no! This gun will not fire even a round in the chamber without the mag in...that is what he was showing. That is a perfectly reasonable test since this gun has that mag drop safety feature. That is a deal to make these cal legal.

@76SRV190 I get that, but it doesn't require a loaded mag to drop the hammer. Also, it's not good to dry-fire a rimfire firearm, as it can and will damage the firing pin and the breach face.

@billytamer The gun requires a mag to be inserted before the hammer can be dropped.. but it doesn't have to be a loaded one. While he didn't necessarily do anything unsafe, it wasn't the smartest procedure. Also, dry firing a rimfire firearm without a dummy/snapcap is never a good idea as it can damage the pin and breach.
