I'd rather not know exactly how that played out. Jesse wasn't innocent here, but I witnessed Wade and Joel bitch for weeks behind Jesse's back without once talking to him themselves before they cut him off. This song is just an immature cheap shot at Jesse to make the band feel better about being bitches.

I witnessed this all from the inside out. If there is anyone who thinks that Jesse started talking trash, they are foolishly buying into rumours and heresay. Directly related to the saying "Write it down on stone" or "Written in Stone".

Nothing to do with an old hip hop expression, its about how things are set in stone and the band had all their parts set in stone, but jesse ingelgivcs decided that he didnt want a part, so as a opposite to stone (a permament part) he kept his part of the band on wax (something that can melt or be destroyed easily).
