I know these are annoying is hell but check out our demos, similar sound to Alexis' but different at the same time. If you like this you'll like "Repopulate".
Just a bunch of bitches whining about how they lost a far better drummer in Jesse. If only they had the balls to sit and talk with him they would still be a relevant group of musicians. Since '05, they've played it far too safe to matter.
@TheTimbalanders With almost everyone else, you'd be right. Very few people do actually know what happened back then, especially with both the band & Jesse signing confidentiality agreements. I'd rather not know exactly how that played out. Jesse wasn't innocent here, but I witnessed Wade and Joel bitch for weeks behind Jesse's back without once talking to him themselves before they cut him off. This song is just an immature cheap shot at Jesse to make the band feel better about being bitches.
@riverroad92 They wrote the song after Jesse starting talking trash about them once he left, I doubt they still would have if he just left and didn't say anything
@TheTimbalanders I know for a fact that Jesse didn't say anything about them after he left. He had to keep his mouth shut, as legally required by the confidentiality agreement. I witnessed this all from the inside out. If there is anyone who thinks that Jesse started talking trash, they are foolishly buying into rumours and heresay. He tried many times to talk with the band, but they refused contact repeatedly. The fact that you don't know who Joel is proves you don't know anything firsthand.
@riverroad92 And how do you know this? Do you know what caused the band to kick Jesse out as well?
"The fact that you don't know who Joel is proves you don't know anything firsthand." - Well yeah, but I never claimed that I did. Who is Joel, their tour manager?
Directly related to the saying "Write it down on stone" or "Written in Stone".
It refers to something that will most likely change. Something written in stone is permanent, whereas, wax can be melted down and appear as being brand new.
No not pwned, your a retard becuase your understanding of this is wrong, its about keeping their relationship on wax, not keeping the insults, freaking idiot.
Nothing to do with an old hip hop expression, its about how things are set in stone and the band had all their parts set in stone, but jesse ingelgivcs decided that he didnt want a part, so as a opposite to stone (a permament part) he kept his part of the band on wax (something that can melt or be destroyed easily).
i believe it is an old hip-hop expression which means to keep conflicts or 'beefs' on music as apposed to in the streets with guns. so this essentially is a 'beef' record with former drummer Jesse Ingelevics.
badass song and props on the video post

@ ssuicides
Beucase the name is derived from Alexis fire the worlds only lactating contortionist stripper.
The song is also actually written about their first drummer Jesse Ingelevics.
