You know, not that I believe this angry customer was in line by yelling but he does have a point. Customer service is supposed to help people DIRECTLY to solve the problem and not ask us our email address and name and all that. It's actually ridiculous.
the rep shouldnt have let it get that far, they should have told the guy if he kept yelling & being rude that the call would be ended....period. Don't give in to these pricks.

Excuse my rant, but Dell Customer Service (in India) is THE absolute WORST in the UNIVERSE! They don't know anything that's not on their script. Once I asked them to transfer me to someone in the U.S., and after being transferred to 5 different people, they finally told me that the U.S. tech service is "charge-only"! Unbelievable!! Can't even speak to someone in my own country without getting charged! Dell SUCKS, & they couldn't care less about their customers! That's all - tks for listening. ;)

I had a Dell laptop, but my MOTHER accidentally dropped a heavy glass object on top of it and marked a dent on the cover going straight through to the screen. LUCKILY, I managed to salvage ALL of my data and transferred it into a BRAND NEW one.
Yeah, the service rep could have just told him that from the beginning. Would have saved everyone a lot of time and emotion. Still, the customers behavior is completely uncalled for.

But for fucks sake, why does he need an email address, a last name, a blood type, color of his 1st car, square footage of the house, and all that other horse shit. Just tell the idiot how to shut it off and move to the next dumbass.

It still has not been refunded and every time I call they say - "Oh yes sir, it will be refunded in 3 days. It has been sent to our finance team. Call back in 3 days". I've called back 'in 3 days' about 8 times now...
All I get is some piddly Indian woman in a call centre half way across the world who can't do shit to help me nor wants to.
So in the mean time, i'm stuck with $1.8k out of my wallet
