Oh holy fuck I was losing my mind trying to find this. The blocks are way better as I was going crazy wondering "Why the hell are my patterns on the same track?" You have to manually pick each one. I thought this was suppose to be why people used FLS.

Thanks, you're a life saver. So if it's to become OBSOLETE in the future.....does anyone know how to properly use this new Playlist window easily? Upgrades are suppose to make our work much more easier, so I'm sure switching to this new playlist is Image Line's best solution, but we just haven't figured out the best way to use it yet.

So if anyone know how to use this new Playlist properly, please upload a video on how to do so. In the mean time, I'm switching back to the legacy pattern blocks.

I don't know why they're trying to make this switch, it makes everything so awkward having to manually select each pattern with the scroll bar every time you want to put it in somewhere. Plus, the pattern bars are the whole point of FL Studio, if I wanted to use tracks I'd use something that actually does it well, like Audition. Looks like 10 will be the last FLS I'll be getting...

@JohnFWitt I can work without blocks but using the blocks "Pattern selector" is easier than the Project picker.

I might stick with 10. You don't have to update FLS as it's the users choice. I work with blocks for a quick draft then convert to clips for further editing.

@zipproductionz Well first it was for automations then now they are wanting to fade out blocks & have like...clip blocks. Importance of have blocks as clips, not that much. It is easier to fine edit them, but I use blocks then convert them to clips when I'm happy with the layout of the song.

But when I press play there is still sound and my song still plays. I just cant see all the stuff that I arranged in the playlist area. @TeslaTheta0 Ah, I think I know what you have done. I think you have moved the bar divider. Move your cursor just above pattern 1 on the play list and the cursor should change to what looks like 2 arrows, 1 up 1 down with like a line in the middle, click , hold and drag down :)
