@JosePablo24 Of course !!! It is used widely in electronics. Everywhere where you do not want any outside electro-magnetic to interfere with electronics the electronics are placed in a metal box which acts like a faraday cage. F.I. radio tuners have it but there are plenty more applications.

Not really, Hes suspended off the ground, So non of the current grounding through him. Its perfectly safe aslong as he dosent touch the floor wile current is passing though the cage.
