@Deera Nah you got it mixed up. It was originally Jon's song. He recorded it and everything but it was left off his record. Not wanting a good song to go to waste, the recording label sold that song to Beyonce for her movie "Obsessed" and it was put on her record.

I see what you're saying, but if you think about it, "I wanna run smack into you" makes more sense because sometimes when you fall in love, it hits you out of nowhere (smack!) and you don't care if it hurts.. so to me, smack makes more sense, and is more romantic... and its also different because one is "I wanna run, smash into you" and the other is "I wanna run smack into you" haha sorry that was long

I never thought about the "smack" lyric that way. When I heard Beyoncé sing it I interpreted it to mean that she wanted to run so fast to him that they smash into each other and become one. That's what I envisioned a music video looking like, but that's just my imagination, lol.

nope, the tempos are the same. all i did was change them in terms of volume levels, treble, bass, etc. to make the duet as "real" as possible. oh, and thanks!

did you know that is song was writen for Jon but for what ever reason he didn't sing it, so Beyonce sang it first and then Jon started to sing it aswell. This is only what I read a few days ago.
