Um.. how isn't he? He's gay. His shadow is, well in all sorts of terms, flaming. He's supressing that part of himself. Not that I have a problem with him. Stuff like that makes interesting characters - memorable characters.

The feminine flaming behavior and excessive masculine preference from his shadow is a result of his fear of girls and having to suppress feelings or behaviors thought to be "girly". *sorta spoilers* He's had to put on an exaggerated masculine facade due to being teased and alienated about his like to sew as a child.

I mean, it's wholly possible that he's bi, but being gay is a stretch due to multiple instances of showing attraction to girls during the game.

I'd take 'Senpai' and other honorifics over "You", "Him", "That Guy".

Honorifics is an easy way to address the MC without putting too much thought into it and making it sound awkward (FFX for example).
