For those that cant decide between the Pioneer DDJ or Numark NS6. The NS6 hands down feels better. You will feel the difference in Build Quality. The Jogs are smooth and really tight when you are scratching. You have XLR main, Rca Booth out put and Rca Master. 4 Decks etc. Incase you didnt know, Serato went to Numark a few years ago and talk about a controller being for there Itch software. Thats when the NS7 came out. The Deck has premium parts and the sound card is very good.

I just bought the Pioneer ddjs-1. My platter or jog wheels do not illuminate. And I haven't been able to get any sound using the XLR out put cables. RCA outputs work but still my jog wheels do not light up. Is there something I should know? Bought at a discount but brand new.

All I have to say is that this is a great great chill mix. Whatever way you want to look at it, whether is digital or turn tables, what it matters is how the mix is constructed and most importantly how it makes you feel. This mix is pretty dope.

This is nice and all but all that button pushing... playing the hooks of every commercial tomfoolery. Bleh. He's not even touching the adjust jog wheels... It's not thrilling as in keeping two improvised tracks in match. Who needs all that looping and fades? just Stuff pre- arranged man. DJing should be fun for the DJ too. Nothing like dropping two fat beats and KEEPING them synced. Not so easy eh? , but when it does happen, the feeling is amazing.

It seems as if traktor has a lot more effects. and is easier to make mashups and mixes from what i have seen have not been able to play on either one of these controllers

Serato itch vs. Traktor pro 2 when you only look at the AudioFX??? Anybody has experience with serato itch FX? I use traktor pro 2 and those FX are really nice, I don’t want to loose those… But I like the black controller for serato itch, the silver controller for traktor is a little bit moo :P I think I will go for the traktor version since its cheaper and I know the software…. Its a shame the T1 lacks some I/O :(

@MrJswift77 I know it's more than likely a basic macbook. The one I have is white. Macbook pros are silver and the most common screen size for them are 15 and 17 inches. (although they do make 13.5 inch mackbook pros) spec wise I'm not sure, the old intel ones have core2duo processors and range from around 1gb to 4 gb's in RAM. If it's the more updated model (sleek-more modernized body) then I'm not sure. haha. I hope that helps. Macs all look the same...
