  • you forgot one thing to always torque your wheels lug nuts with a torque wrench. you dont want them comming loose.

  • @LimitlessPoppy --- You know, I've been changing tires for over 40 years and have never lost a lug nut yet. If you have torque wrench, go for it. You need to check the nuts on alloy wheel after 25 miles or so anyway.

  • great video!

  • Thanks for the video!

  • Who didn't like this video?

  • do you have to change the rotor when you change the pads??

  • @callmedarko you only do if the rotor has worn down below minimum wear specs. or if the rotor has worn unevenly then you should get it machined. Although the pads wear out a lot faster that the rotor so you probalbally won't need to replace them.

  • @callmedarko No, but you should have it turned so that it is perfectly flat. That is pretty cheap to have done and most shops will do it for you. If the rotors are too thin, they'll tell you and then you'll need to buy new rotors. I put on new rotors this time because I wanted to upgrade them to the slotted and drilled design which is supposed to give better stopping and cooling.

  • great other than the caliper and the slide bolt were not lubed

  • Yep, you're right. I left that out of the video. Good catch.

  • thanks so much this helped a lot
