The Shures offer noise isolation while the Bose mie2i's don't. I have tried the Bose headphones you mentioned, and I prefer the Shures over those since it has noise isolation and also the revolving/rotating connections. As far as sound quality goes they are both comparable to one another.
@AreaCode978 It takes a bit to get used to them, but after you do get used to them they feel normal, and they are Inconspicuous. They don't pop out of your ear or anything.
