You played it well, except (during the chorus especially) you don't need to follow the chord with the same note for the bass chord. The three notes of the chorus are C maj, D maj, and F minor, but you should be playing the note C during all of those chords. Not trying to hate, but I think you'll find that it sounds alot more like the movie if you do :)

the actual song is a lot simpler than what you're playing. but still cool i guess. maybe play a little softer so you can hear yourself better. I know how to play it too and I'm questioning just a few of your changes. maybe give it another listen

nice cover, good singing and playing dude, but you got a few of the chords wrong. The 3rd chord in the progression for "you hold the key, you hold the key..." is supposed to be a minor chord, I think. And the same goes for a chord at "..please let me out soon.." Other than that, great job.

Two things, dont hold the sustain pedal down during the whole song. release it at every chord. also, during the "you hold the key, you hold the key" the chord progression is a C bass the whole time. in other words, C, D/C, F/C, C , thats what gives it a really cool sound. good voice.
