  • Great video. I really enjoyed it. :)

  • this us going to be a lame comment, but i'm gonna say it anyway. great shooting video! and i'm a magician i've preformed for many groups of people. the treasury department being of of them it hasn't been illegal to damage currency since we left the gold standard and became a promissory note.i've had that useless fact for 8 years finally got to use it.

  • The distance was 100 yards. I have a 500 yard target from that rifle with a group measuring 1.5" or so. As for shooting money, if the Secret Service spends time investigating me over a dime, we've got problems. ;)

  • What distance were you shooting from? Great video.

  • He's shooting US money, I wonder if he knows that's a felony?

  • The mistake about the stock was pointed out about a year ago, and many posts back. Sorry about the error.

  • That is not a mcmillian stock. It's a hs precision. And even if it was a Mcmillian, they don't use an aluminum bedding block.

  • By far my favorite in my collection

  • 1 Target voted Dislike.

  • Aimbot!

  • where can i get this rifle and how much is it ?? i was thinking of getting the remington 700 sendero but i guess this is better

  • Great video! Thanks!

  • curtissurfer, it's a 26 inch barrel with a 1:12 twist.

  • @charlottemonkeyleg yea remington is an asshole they had to make a .30 caliber in a 1: 12 twist that is slow as fuck

  • @charlottemonkeyleg question whats the length of barrel and twist? Gun looks good btw

  • amm i dont think ur supose to destroy money in any way

  • that's all i shoot are rem 700's the best bang & accuracy for the money ive shot with friends that have custom made rifles 2 to 3 grand for the rifle & another 3 grand for a scope 5-6 grand total mine cost 700 for the rifle 1700 for scope 2400 total it realy pisses them off when i out shoot them

  • What was the first load you shot? Powder type, amount? Bullet type and weight? And primer type?

  • Much respect for the succinct, organized delivery of information and concise explanations that accompany all your pointers, not to mention some of the best shooting I've seen on YouTube, sandbags or not. It really makes me regret selling my 700P several years ago, but if nothing else it has prompted me to buy one again. Thank you for the video, sir, 10/10!

  • This guy would feint if he saw me shoot.

  • @tarfun5959 But your shooting only happens in a video game, junior. Any time you think you're ready, bring money. Lots of money.

  • @jmar1371 Err... what?

  • Great video sir.

  • Great video. I love the 700p. I got one question, could this guy be Napoleon Dynamite's father? Gosh!

  • That is a very pretty gun. No nonsense, no bullshit.

  • felipebass, the scope is a Leupold 6.5x20x50.

  • @charlottemonkeyleg if you put your cursor over someones comment you can hit the reply button and then the message will show up in their inbox.

  • What scope do you use?

  • love that rifle!

  • Hank Hill?!

  • @starshock01 looks more like Clint Eastwoods younger brother lol

  • Bellofello, I just shoot five or ten rounds to start, then completely clean and let it cool down, then another five or ten and clean. I do this for maybe fifty rounds. I used to do a more elaborate break in, but I don't think it made any difference.

  • Vampireratt, I'm using 42.3 grains of N140 with a Sierra 168 gr HPBT Match King, and CCI benchrest primers. Bullet seating is .0015" off the lands. The brass is Federal, and is trimmed to 1.014" to 1.017". I've sorted the cases so that they're all within the range of 173.9 to 175.9 grains. Primer pockets are uniformed. The cases are all fire-formed, and I only neck size them after that. If the shoulder is out of spec, I don't use the case.

  • Would you mind sharing your barrell break in procedure with us? Nice shooting. I just put a down payment on a 700P in .308, can't wait to get into some of this style of shooting! Thanks for the video

  • I'd like to see him shoot that fly at 10:02

  • snowboarddue, I acknowledged that mistake after the 2nd comment. It is an HS Precision stock.

  • @charlottemonkeyleg I am using this gun for benchrest. Grouping at about 1/4 inch a 100 yds with Federal 168gr Sierra match hpbt. What "pet" load are you using. I need to find a good hand load using the Hornady Amax 168 gr.

  • I thought the 700 p had the HS precision stock.... HS stocks come aluminum bedded with the block mc millans don't

  • i priced a similar 700 hundred about 2 weeks ago for $1995. the rifle was in 308 and didn't come with a sight. i was so impressed with the 700 hundred i played with i ordered 1. i'm in Australia." i vote and i shoot."

  • That's a great rifle!!! Where can I buy one just like it? Thanks!!!!!

  • I experimented with different brands of factory ammo, and found Federal Gold Match to work the best (as usual). From there I worked up my own handloads (using N140, not W231 as I said in the video!).

  • @charlottemonkeyleg If you did use W231, you'd be having a really bad day ;)

  • whats the best ammo to use on this Rifle interested on buying a 700P and i was wondering what the best ammo for it

  • @xdavex713 Depends on what you're shooting, how far your shooting, conditions, etc.

Most serious shooters handload. (and everyones handloads are just a little bit different because every rifle is unique)

Otherwise, I'd personally go with Black Hill 168 gr. Match for target shooting.

But then, I'd also be much more worried about the glass then what kind of ammo I was shooting.

  • @The FLWPRO Cold bore is going to be the shot you take after you stalk. It will

Not be warm when you take the shot. If it is then your position is compromised. The 0311 is right about the dope. But what do I know being an 11B scout sniper.

  • I just got this rifle..Im still breaking in the barrel..great gun!!!!

  • It cost $700 over ten years ago. I've seen them for around $900 lately. Maybe less at some online gun stores.

  • how much was that rifle

  • Hope that was a fake coin! You do know that it is a federal crime to deform current currency. Good shooting though.

  • @Aussie038 That's only with the intent to use the deformed currency. Shooting a coin without trying to use it as change is legal.

  • I have a 700 ADL stainless. It shots 0.75 inch group @ 100 yard.

  • 42.3 grains Win 231, CCI Benchrest large rifle primer, Sierra 168 HPBT Match King. Also I sort the cases by weight, toss out any that are outside the range of 174 to 176 grains. Bullet seating is .010 off the lands.

  • @charlottemonkeyleg Win 231 is pistol powder.

  • What's your reload recipe for your .308 700 PSS?

  • Thanks for the tips, I am impressed with the accuracy of that rifle. Is there a dealer that you know of where I can order one? Thanks.

  • They are very sweet rifles!

  • cold bore shots are less accurate

  • cold bore shots are less accurate

  • @TheFLWPRO - In the field, a Sniper will be DOPE'd to achieve 'one shot one kill' contacting the target from a cold bore...the reasons are obvious. But what do I know, I was 0311...

  • cold bore shots are less accurate

  • You're correct. My mistake. There's another model that has the McMillan stock.

  • @charlottemonkeyleg

Win 231....? I think you are mistaking about the gunpowder ... If I rember well, 231 is for pistol... I think that 42,3 grains of win 231 in a rifle case may be very dangerous... check it! :)

  • I thought they were H-S precision stocks......

  • @xcelerator67 they are H&S Precision stocks if you buy them factory stock.
