  • @ChiT0wnLegend LMAO. Wow. Okay, I'm done here...

  • @o0ohahahao0o red herring

    –noun

    1. a smoked herring.

    2. something intended to divert attention from the real problem or matter at hand

  • @ChiT0wnLegend LMAO it was relevant to the article you just posted! Do you even read them? ... why am I asking? haha...

  • @ChiT0wnLegend - Both your sources are seriously outdated. The first by nearly 20 years and the second by a decade. Do you even know how much a decade is worth in scientific advancement, let alone 2? That is, unless you can seriously prove that the domestic LGBT household has not changed in the past 10-20 years. That's ALSO taking into consideration the works you cited are completely flawless in their argument as well (which I doubt, but okay...).

  • @o0ohahahao0o @o0ohahahao0o

    Description of Burden of Proof

Burden of Proof is a fallacy in which the burden of proof is placed on the wrong side. Another version occurs when a lack of evidence for side A is taken to be evidence for side B in cases in which the burden of proof actually rests on side B.

Claim X is presented by side A and the burden of proof actually rests on side B.

Side B claims that X is false because there is no proof for X.

  • @ChiT0wnLegend - No, you're using it wrong. See YOU put forth the claim (let's call this X) that the two articles (let's call them premise A and B) support your position (C). In order for YOU to do that, YOU need to make sure that the time-frames are consistent (so that A⇒C and B⇒C), which YOU didn't. Reduction: A⇒C ⇔ X and B⇒C ⇔ X. You have not proven your claim (X), therefore, YOUR logic is flawed.

  • @o0ohahahao0o Description of Gambler's Fallacy

The Gambler's Fallacy is committed when a person assumes that a departure from what occurs on average or in the long term will be corrected in the short term. The form of the fallacy is as follows:

    X has happened.

X departs from what is expected to occur on average or over the long term.

Therefore, X will come to an end soon.

  • @ChiT0wnLegend - Now you're just grasping at straws. I have not made any assertion in which something is departing from the long-term norm.

  • @o0ohahahao0o "unless you can seriously prove that the domestic LGBT household has not changed in the past 10-20 years"

  • @ChiT0wnLegend - Uh, that's necessary for your claim...remember that post 2 minutes ago? Yeah...

  • @o0ohahahao0o Okay, its clear you have little idea what you're talking about. You think (think being the operative word here) that you're intelligent by pasting logical fallacy explanations from nizkor, but it doesn't work that well if you don't have an inkling about logic itself.

  • @o0ohahahao0o Description of Personal Attack

A personal attack is committed when a person substitutes abusive remarks for evidence when attacking another person's claim or claims. This line of "reasoning" is fallacious because the attack is directed at the person making the claim and not the claim itself. The truth value of a claim is independent of the person making the claim.

  • @o0ohahahao0o and LOL that's not even the right application of Gambler's Fallacy. A better example is someone flipping a coin and getting more tails, and then expecting to flip heads just because he/she flipped more tails.

  • @ChiT0wnLegend - Read this quote: "This is important because sometimes Schumm would come across a passage of children of gay parents who said they were "adamant about not declaring their sexual orientation at all." These people would be labeled straight, even though the passage's implication was that they were gay."

  • @o0ohahahao0o LOL : )

  • "Fathers are more likely than mothers to encourage their children to tackle difficult tasks, endure hardship without yielding, and seek out novel experiences."

  • @ChiT0wnLegend - The two sources cited by The Witherspoon Institute in these particular statements (I'm not even going to mention the bias - oh, I guess I did) are both from the 1990s - so read about what I said about that in your other cited sources.

  • @o0ohahahao0o WEAK INFERENCE:

Weak inference is when a judgment is made with insufficient evidence, or that the conclusion does not necessarily follow from the evidence given.

For example: Ducks and geese migrate south for the winter, therefore all waterfowl migrate south for the winter. Or, most rich folks vote republican, therefore most people who vote republican are rich.

  • @ChiT0wnLegend - Uh, you didn't read the comment that came after...it's supposed to follow this one...

  • @ChiT0wnLegend - Second, the cited text in question ("The Two Sexes...") approach the idea of sex with an emphasis on gender roles with the heterosexual household: the argument is that the sexes operate relative to the other - in citing that source, The Witherspoon Institute is ASSUMING that LGBT families will follow a heterosexual convention in marriage - that's largely unproven.

  • this is isane but the children who didnt get homes before do now...

that is what Im thankful for....lol

  • I can't wait to get this movie, I really want to see this and want everyone who is against gay parenting to see how happy these children are and that they are punishing the children by barring same sex couples from adopting

  • "He's white, and I'm black." LOL!

  • this is wrong in all aspects of life

  • nice..people often say that gay are freaks and crap like that, that they shouldn't adopt, but so many of those homophobes are no good in real life.they sux as parents, get drunk or troll all day on the net.gay people have the potential to give a lot of kids a good home because they truly appreciate those kids, that most of them are unable to create.peace

  • I am surrogating for a gay couple and I cant be more happy with what I am doing for them. I dont understand why there is such a discrimination against the homosexual community. It is nature to go against nature so I hope in the next 50 years this wont be such a difficult topic. They have decided to name their daughter Roya coming in July!

  • i have been calling my two dads daddy and papa since birth i am 13 now and i cant think of a better way to be raised then by two men... godbless and thank you!

  • i wish i was adopted by daddy& papa

because they seem to be more into there children

    than just daddy and mommy.

gay mans seem to make better fathers.

  • these guys are cool and have such love for their kids love this vid

  • "he's white"...haha. sweet. :)

  • Daddy & Papa... sweet... :(

  • God bless gay family adoption, it has the potential to give many children decent lives and a good start at life.

  • Glee, what *about* us? Have you ever bothered to talk to one of us to see what we think? I grew up with two gay dads, just like the children in this movie. My brothers and I had a really happy childhood. I feel lucky and blessed to have had the parents that I did. There are always challenges if you're part of a minority group, but that's not a bad thing. Good parents will teach you to rise above challenges, whether those challenges are because you're black or adopted or Jewish or anything else.

  • "DaddyPapa" =)

  • i cant wait for the video. This video may hsow the world that its not much different when it comes to gay vs straight families. Not only that, but the black child even said himself "daddy is white, and im black" Which is proof in itself, that children see racial differences more so then gay differances.

  • yep! even though i am not gay... but it shouldnt matter what race your child is. dont hurt them give them a ton of love thats all that matters.

  • People who adopt children, do so out the the kindness of their hearts. If laws prohibit such generosity, it's not the volunteers who suffer, it's the children who are denied the security of a loving home. Some lawmakers clearly hate gays more than they love underprivileged children.

  • @thursdaysrecords OMG thats so true im jamaican and if they see two guys walking too close a mob will attack them thats the level of homophobia. Gay people have the biggest hearts they always go he extra mile just to make the people around them comfortable and happy, they are so warm and friendly too.

  • oh such cute kids. "Daddypapa!" so adorable

  • Can't wait to see this! It looks great.

  • Cant wait to buy this video! Thank you for the inspiration.
