the moroccan royal family seem to be quite modest, i mean it seem like the only thing they wear is the caftans, even the king's wife, she rarely wear western clothes. don't get me wrong its beautiful, but it kinda make her look quite old in a way, was that hilary and chelsea clinton they look good in caftans.

Honey! Sorry to disappoint! My mom was her mom's neighbor growing up! Her aunts were the first women judges in Morocco, and they were from Fez!

the moroccan royal family seem to be quite modest, i mean it seem like the only thing they wear is the caftans, even the king's wife, she rarely wear western clothes. don't get me wrong its beautiful, but it kinda make her look quite old in a way, was that hilary and chelsea clinton they look good in caftans.

@bastine96 what are the materials used in caftans? Would satin and silk be too soft? What are the materials used for state dinners? I see that one of the women had a blouse on over a long skirt, very nice. Princess Salma is so beautiful that she would look all dressed up and classy in a burlap sack!
