  • my favorite part of this is 0:53- 1:00

  • i don't understad why all this restriction in north america to film trains. until i am on public property i can do everything i want: filming, taking photo, even painting trains on a canvas.

  • damn american automatic couplers

  • that was really cool..i got to see a steam engine couple up..very neat

  • Was this in Chamblee, GA? I see this depot all the time from Marta.

  • This depot is about a five minute walk from the Chamblee MARTA station, across from the Dekalb Peachtree Airport.

  • you are sooooooo lucky/...... here in Mich. their`s nothing.

  • Where is this?

  • A little ns depot in chamblee Georgia

  • Looks like safety banners.

  • haaaa down in abrams yard near my house they literally chase you away, i remember like 10 or so years ago you could go up with no problems and watch, now they put a big fence up with no tresspassing on it...guess the world changes

  • I'm surprise they didn't ask you to leave. NS hates railfans!

  • Nah.... these guys are great. Plus the parking lot is about 2 feet from the track so they really couldnt say too much but they have been more than happy to chat get pix taken or let me shoot video. very cool.

  • I've never been asked to leave an area by railroad employees. Most train crews are nice.

  • NS hates their employees. They treat the Railfans better than they do their employees. I work as a conductor for NS and the management is complete jerks. they dont know their butt from a hole in the ground. I LOVE railfans.

  • eesh im hoping to become a conductor for NS or CSX. which one should i do?

  • well. NS will pay for your training. so i would say NS..

  • eh... idk lol.

  • so does csx

  • both companies suck to work for. ns management is idiotic at best, and good luck getting paid claim codes on csx. you should try a shortline railroad, at least youll be treated like a human being and not just a number.

  • ??? what do you mean claim code? and there are no shortline railroads in southcarolina. Its all ns/csx and mabey just maybe a rare bnsf from cali... and a conrail from who knows where.

  • then id suggest moving, cuz if you hire on with either of these outfits, more than likely youll be forced assigned somewhere anyway.

  • claim codes are for special duties performed. youll learn about them when you hire on.

  • ahh... ok. seems like im screwed then, because i want to work in southcarolina my home town and stay home.

  • Nice!

  • love those Dash 8-40B's
