No, in DRACO shears the curl runs to the right side. It becomes a spiral (like a spring) and will not hinder the cutting. Probably you have seen that problem on other brands.
Make em cordless, and you will have a chance.

Electric shears can create a large spool of metal at the front that can stop the progress of the cut, until the spool is cut off. True of your shear?
