  • This video has been on my favorite list for months. Many nights after getting back from the pub after finishing fucking about on facebook I have looked up this young lad's cover and sang along. Top marks mate. I particularly like the way you finish it off. I think this lad should cover, 'dedicated follower of fashion next' just because it would be a challenging to attempt

  • Thank you for your advice! I mistook a "bit of drunken fun" for a serious musical performance (my mistake; I should have read the small print!) However, does "comment" mean "say nice things" rather than "give your honest opinion"? You say: "He's actually pretty good" - do you mean as a musician? If so, where can I hear him? (CDs?)

  • I really don't know where you can hear him, but I agree when you said "give your honest opinion," but I'm just telling you for the maker's benefit. If I got a bad comment, I wouldn't like it, because I took the trouble to practice the song.

    however, you have a capo on the 2nd, but your guitar sounds normally-tuned... what's up with that? :O

  • in that case, the guitar's been tuned down an entire step - that's why it's in standard with the capo on the 2nd fret. (high to low - DAFCED)

  • yeah i figured, i just thought it was odd ;)

    I found an alternate way to play it that i think is a little bit easier since there are not as many barred chords (makes it sound cleaner too)

    with the guitar tuned normally (eadgbe), put a capo on the 3rd fret and play these chords, relative to the capo:

    Am, Dm, G, C, F, Dm, E, Am

    it's also quite easier to play the chorus too, starting with Dm

    anyway, tell me what you think!
