please dont relese him! he want survive. i now this because i raised one and did and went to check on her and she was dead so please dont make the mistake i did!!
Why would someone have a baby lion in their home? They belong in the wild! I can only imagine the damage being inflcited on that poor lion. And eventually it will grow to be a big lion and a serious problem if they still have it in their home.
It's one thing if the animal is in captivity to protect it.; which I doubt. It's another to have a large cat as a pet. Those animals belong in the wild; not in people's homes or zoos for that matter.
Thank you for the update! She's lovely! Has she been weaned here yet? Since she is already displaying more aggression ('s all cute n playful though :D) I'm assuming she has.
I agree, even if they were raised in captivity for whatever reason, they are still wild, and they still have their wild instincts, tammed or untammed, having a lion as a "pet" is dangerous, but like I said, captivity you know, im sure it will be released in the wild when hes older
but this video just warmed my heart, the cub is so so so adorable
and in one year he is deadly, damn scary...

Lol i guess it's a bit expensive to keep her a home, i mean several kilos of meat a day lol

Wow, y'know, sometimes shit happens where it would be death to the animal to be taken back to the wild. Try to sound less ignorant.

She probably won't be released into the wild. She'll live in the zoo her whole life or she may be transfered to another zoo.

Why was it pulled from mom.. just curious?
And is the exhibit it will spend its entire life in nice and large?
briczar22 3 years ago
Mom possibly rejected it or there was something wrong with the mother that made her unable to care for the cub. My guess is the first reason.

They can be pets...as long as theyre tamed. I happen to have a baby howler monkey, and i warn you, DO NOT GET ONE!!! It howls all the time!
bluekillsall 4 years ago
There is no such thing as a tamed wild animal bluekillsall. You're an idiot to think other wise. More docile? Sure. But NEVER tamed.
Anyways, this lion is just adorable! :)
