It was written by Craig and Jeannette Sears. Off the Freedom At Point Zero Jefferson Starship album in 1979. I wore out the 8-track tape!

This is a Jefferson Starship tune. The guitar player (Craig) was in that band. He is probably credited as one of the writers of the song. No mystery anymore.

You're dead on with the fantastic vocal on this tune. Hard to do a song like this justice. He did, and did it well.
