Une honte que cet imposteur soit professeur d'université. Heureusement qu'aux HEC il ne convainc personne et passe pour une clown mais dans un département de sciences sociales il ferait des ravages.

@MisterHerr Oh no, he wouldn't cause any ravages. Maybe in a department that doesn't believe or have any methodology...this guy is drawing only spurious relationships. Anecdotal data is not data. It is still anecdotal no matter how many anecdotal data point he cites.

@USASalim : Salim, ce gars est très solide dans son domaine, j'ai assisté à plusieurs présentations. Sorry but it may seem to you that the data are "anecdotal", but it tells us the truth. He brought it this way to ease people understanding of the thing. You don't need anybody to verify what GB and USA did to conquer the world and to destroy it.

@swiftspy He might be strong, I don't know him and i never read his work. However when he was talking about the economy, he was all over the place. Maybe he was adapting his presentation to the crowd in the room and that's how he was talking that way. Having that, he really played fast and loose with some serious concepts. As for the anecdotal data, that the problem. It seems nice and truthful and yet it is inherently unreliable.

@swiftspy Even with that we are still dealing with a anecdotal data if we are not systematically controlling with other explanations/variables. Just to build on your example, how many jobs does the output of an hindi worker generate and how many does the output of an football generate? Moreover, the expected utility (in terms of E(U)) of each is different. In anyways, it's a long a conversation that cannot be strapped in a comment of 500 characters. But i see your point.

El martes 20 de octubre tuvimos el placer de recibir en la Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana Azcapotzalco al Doctor Aktouf quien nos hizo el enorme favor de presentarnos una conferencia titulada Globalizacion, economia y administracion en el contexto de la crisis mundial. De verdad que fue un enorme placer escuchar a alguien con la calidad del profesor. Necesitamos mas espacios en donde se puedan difundir las ideas y propuestas de este hombre tan genial.
