This is awesome, but you have to remember that when Anis broke the record he was confined to a smaller space. Anis was fully inverting too and doing legit gainer fulls, not corks. Not to discredit this though, this is equally as impressive.

When the titles say "18 in so many seconds" etc... I think that it'd be MUCH more of a challenge if they were landed in place, and back to back (consecutively in place). This gentleman does some tight rotations, and several in a row! Not in the least bit easy, damn... O.O!

when we go to train here in sorocaba we look for sands or grass areas so we can fall a lot without hurt ourselves.

I know for a fact that we been doing raiz to corks before tricking was even around....hell before most of your tricking heroes could even cartwheel lol. I dunno about inventing corks or what not but I never seen any martial artists doing them in the 80s or very very early 90s besides capoeiristas. My first time seeing them were at capoeira tournaments back in 89-93 when my dad took me to them (I'm 28 now and a Mestre myself)
