@merrell89 no, you can actually reverse the gears and flip the electronics, then get touring tires and it will drive without drift. I can change it from drift to touring in about 25-30 mins because I have studied the E10 over and over and pretty much understand every square inch of it. The are a simple, and fun little car. I recommend purchasing one.

it the beginers hpi drift car. but it has a touring version you can change where the motor is mounted to change how it drives plus the drift has plastic tires the touring has rubber hope that helps

The Shelby body looks great! I picked up a used e10 drift 2 wks ago and Im hooked. Not very familiar with them, so I was wondering if regular sprint- type wheels can be mounted on e10s?

The stock battery only runs for about 15 minutes (I have the drift version). But I put in a 3600 battery and now it lats like 40 min.

i'm runing a 1700 battery in a tamiya mad bull that drinks the juice of 2 batteryies in 15 mins but i pretty much just sit ther spinning the wheels and i'm thinking of gettin one of these where are good places to drift??

Just find the flatest, cleanest place (no stones or gravel) you can, you will be able to drift for hour's.

I curled the wires on the servo, put that back, then i put the reciever under the black part where the esc was, then i to my 30amp bushless esc, curled the wires, and put the on top of the servo where the reciver was. My bushless VXL Vilineon motor is in the mail so are my blue aluminum rims and my new nissan silvia S-15 body. Then when my mini t sells,better battery packs, then light buckets and light set then neons...so sick!!!!

I have the Trueno and I painted the spokes of my rims red wit chrome paint and left the outside chrome. The i put abnch of stickers all over and i bent my atenna back which makes it look so sick...plus i lowered the body and custom fitted long one piece pins instead of the small black ones. right now i took the entire set of electronics out.

the esc can only handle a 21 turn motor and it has a 27 turn so yes you can make it a lot faster. the stock tries your not going anywhere upgrade the higher speed drift tries. it a hard rubber not hard plastic.

i think it a well rounded car for beginners but you can't adjust anything and it is a little heavy so i cut out parts of the plastic underbody. so very simplistic i just put nice bodies on it more soon to come once this one get damaged. thank
