@CoolbreezeFromSteam I know exactly what you mean, punches dont hurt, nor do any moves that are done correctly but, I hurt my ribs by doing a crossbody off the top ropes, I messed it up and failed doing it correctly, and fractured one of my ribs, thats all, injuris do happen, its stuntman job
I think being a pro wrestler must be one of the lousiest jobs in the world. You train damn hard and are a top athlete for being ridiculed by the public and booed by the fans (if you are forced to be a heel). A lot of these guys die early as a consequence of steroid abuse or drug abuse, or suffer from depressions and similar things. This guy here (Schultz) was shot in 1996. He says it's a good business, but he doesn't seem like a happy person, does he? The reporter is a twat, btw.
@GlennGould77 They train hard but why not just fkn admit that the "matches" are FAKE AS HELL. Everyone already knows it, its just ridicilous to deny it to this day. Just say "yeah well you know...sure its not all made up on the spot wink wink, but we do it for the entertainment!". I totally accept that they are well trained athletes who provide entertainment, that is surely enough!! If you havent yet, go watch the Louis Thereoux docu on Wrestling for more insight.
