Love these games, though this is the one where the franchise started going down hill from the epicness that was Turok 1 and 2, I have many fond memories of it. Also, it's the first Turok game(on the N64) that I beat without cheats... though it is also the easiest most straightforward one too.

Josh was my favorite character in the whole Turok series. After I sat through Turok 3's credits and saw the cut scene where Adon says she can save Joshua from death, I was gearing up for a 4th. Sadly, all we got was Evolutions, a prequel to Dinosaur Hunter before Acclaim went bankrupt.

One of the potential games that was to come after this one was a Turok game where Adon went on a quest to save Joshua. This game bombed hardcore due to poor graphics that were somehow worse than Turok 2 in spite of using the same engine, terrible level design, lame enemies, a rushed plot, and bad gameplay.

4: after killing the volcano boss, you slide down an underwater tunnel, swin to an elevator, which puts you behind the big pyramid-like structure. from there you can climb to the weapon part at the very top on the pyramid!

5: fight your way through to the area called the Gauntlet, where you have to ride a train past lots of enemies. about 1/3 of the way through, there is a side path on the right. follow it to the end to find the final piece.

let me see if i can explain where to find the secret weapon pieces: (1 per level)

1: about halfway, you drop down a manhole into the sewer-it will be directly behind you.

2: after disarming the missiles, backtrack and look under silos 3+4.

3: after pressing the button to flood the dam, swim back through the now-underwater tunnel, then up to where the "lifeforce" items are.

you play as Danielle or Joseph, they are the younger sibling of Joshua from Turok 2. It's badass you choose which you want in the beginning. Danielle has the heavy power and grappling hook, and Joseph has silenced weapons and night vision. I think there is a cheat to play as Joshua too and have all the weapons.
