Actually no. Its much harder to dodge an attack than to throw one. To throw you just pick ur moment and move, to dodge u gotta react and then move. So even if the snake did get the cat, it doesnt mean its faster. If it could also dodge the cat's attack then it would be faster. Btw that snake is really cool, what kind is it.

Absolutely ridiculous. Any half-decent animal keeper can see how pathetic, childish and wrong this is. People like this shouldn't really be allowed to keep sensitive animals like colubrids. Plus it fuels a load of people watching these videos to think it's "cool" or clever to treat snakes like this. Snakes are misunderstood at the best of times, the last thing the reptile keeping community needs is idiots like this portraying them as vicious animals that will attack everything.

The cat is not hit, guys, don't be foolish! The whole action is within miliceconds and even in slow motion it is a blur!! IF the snake had actually bitten the cat there wouldn't be a constant flow in the movement, it would have been a pause where the snake sinks in its teeth and IF the cat was bitten by a rattlesnake she wouldn't just sit there looking at it! It would make a sound, hiss at the snake and lick her paw!
