  • i dont understand how to keep the water clear... koi make water merky and yellowish... all i can do is add Top Fin things to help keep it clean.... what do you all do?

  • What substrate is that, sand?

  • HD ? :D

  • How much is an individual koi and don't they get bigger than that? Is it a dwarf koi?

  • @AStateOfProgressive those are probably babys and you can buy simple koi for like 6 bucks give or take

and yur tank is very clean..when is it a good time to move those fishes into a pond?

  • süper.......

  • someone hasnt been doing their tank cleaning.. lol

  • how u keep ur water so clear i wish i have my fish tank as clear as urs

  • @boOmbOno Try not to overfeed the fish. Also don't overcrowd the aquarium with many fish and get a good filter (from my experience Eheim filters work fantastic). You will have very clean water that way!!

  • you can keep koi in an aquarium, there are many factors that come into play about how big they get, food, water quality, water color, and size of their enviorment, i work at a pond place and have seen koi as big as 3 foot and one of our guys has them in a 10 gallon aquarium (not saying that it right) and they have remained 3 inches the past 3 years

  • i love the white goldfish on the top of aquarium.. very marvelous tail.

  • how old are they

  • i used to have a koi but it died :(

  • @iamgaygio

Same here, I miss mine dude :/ ! They rock

  • nice koi it's got vibrant colors. But i have to agree with koiko002 sand shouldn't be used with koi. I think it's only for saltwatere fish and sometypes of freshwater. but not koi

  • is that sand? doesnt it stick to your kois? i had black sand in mine and i just put them in and they stuck to the slime on thier body. so i took the sand out. and put gravel.

  • I ONLY HAVE 2 KOI N 1 BUTTERFLY KOI.

  • IS 1OO GALLONS GOOD FOR KOI? ANYONE?

  • Koi can grow to be 2 feet. They need to live in huge ponds.

  • @MrZunigaluis no, they can get to 4 ft or so

  • @infodigger good

  • its bad for kois to be in a aquarium that small, i my slef prefer a pond. at least whit 250 gallons/1000liters my pond is under construcktion and id gonna be 100 gallons/4000liters
