Omg this is the same thing that happened to me. My daughter is a twin and she was shaken also same age too. They are getting the same sentence too 1 yr. Shes doing great now. It's so crazy my story is like exactly the same.

God Bless Logan is still alive from Shaken Baby Syndrome. Now Logan is 4 years old almost 5 on December 4,2004. Now Logan Michael Higgins is bless to be still alive. Logan is going to be going into preschool or kingergarten in couple of days.

WOW you are so lucky he is okay and growing so strong-- he looks sooo happy! His father only got one year!!! That is ridiculus!! I told my sons father ( i hadnt known him that long before i got pregnant) that if he ever hurt our baby he wouldnt have time to go through any of the legal process-- I told him point blank that if ANY thing happened to him like this in his care I would kill him with my bare hands! you never know who or what can hurt your child. It doesn't matter who it is. I trust no one. I always check them afterwards and ask the ones that can tell me if anything happened. No it is not your fault. Never think that it is. He isn't allowed to see your son is he? and did he only hurt him and not the twin? I also have twins they are 2 and would not be able to handle what happened to yours.

today, N my CTE class, we watched a video filmed in 1998 about a baby boy who got SBS from his dad and he died i almost cried. it was so sad. the dad got sentenced to jail 4 the rest of his life. he didnt even no shakin' a baby could kill it. it was terrible. he felt so sorry. i would feel entirely depressed if i did that 2 an innocent little angel.

Shaken Baby Syndrome, is when someone, looses control, while a small child is crying or fussing..and they shake the child. Back and forth hard. And when this happens a small child's brain moves back and forth causing brain damage, bleeding in the brain. Most children don't survive. Or it can leave a child disabled. In Logan's case, he was shaken, had bleeding of the brain, he was unable to eat for weeks, because his stomach was bruised so bad.
