Lexmark is worse our opinion. They are the most litigious of the printer manufacturers, so there is no way we would recommend them. They would sue their own mother if she refilled their toner cartridges and/or ink cartridges. Good luck with that.

Terrible because of the ink, or just terrible overall? We have one here in the shop, and prints are amazing with a CI system. Better than the Artisan 800 IMHO. I can see what you mean about ink, no way would I use this printer with Epson brand ink.

@forinkandmore the quality, I found was terrible. It always randomly had lines, or smudges. I always had to open the darn thing up, to find nothing wrong. The colors were bad, and the ink WAS pricey and just wasn't worth the cost. One day i found that when i turned it on it said "Error found, please turn off and on again" Well I just trashed it and got a Lexmark all in one.

oh god i HAD this printer. terrible, terrible, printer. plus ink costs about 85 bucks per refill which is every month or so
