@ParisKills616 I think it's because you need to apply really high pressure at a very small area and fingers tend to spread the force, but I'm no science guy, that just my oppinion :-)

It just requires a little bit of an awkward move: take one side of the zipper's teeth in either hand and pinch both rows until they stretch into a backward arc instead of just being straight rows of teeth. This creates the same kind of "distortion" that allows for extra space in between the teeth as the "zipping" thing does. Next, like shuffling cards, you just lay alternating teeth on top of each other.
