There's nothing inappropriate about it. Now, if a child just goes out in public like that, that's a different story. But I think the storyline from this epi. is that she was having trouble in gymnastics, so then she began to sing about trying again. The leotard makes sense.

A leotard might be indecent, but once girls get to the age of 5 it gets hard to find jeans that aren't low rise, or shorts that aren't super short. For goodness sakes, they sell bikini-cut underwear for little girls. And It's not uncommon to have wording on little girl's butts,which gives everyone an excuse to look.

I enjoyed this show when I was younger and I'm glad to find many of the episodes posted on youtube. I remember that Stacy was my favorite and I wanted to be just like her. Ironically, I study voice myself now and perform whenever I get the chance. Shows like this always made me want to do what these kids are doing-singing and performing! I didn't realize Stacy was the same Stacy Ferguson in Wild Orchid and now the Black Eyed Peas! A few years later, I realized it was her.
