I have the HD 500 system and it is awesome. Got it with the Yamaha RX-A1000 bundled from Amazon. Saved $600 dollars and I am pleased. I repeat this system sounds awesome and the subwoofer created tight, solid bass.

Bose sucks. Klipsch sounds so much better. If you are saying Bose is better, than kill yourself, cause Klipsch makes actual THEATER sound equipment use in actual THEATERS. I have seen Bose concert equipment, but people are too noisy to actually hear all of the sucky sound that comes out of them.

@Stereophile11 Agreed Klipsch makes low end like the kit in the video...the Palladium and Heritage are FANTASTIC!

Even the lower end Klipsch HT speakers best BOSE . The only place Bose beats Klipsch is the SoundDock 10 iPod speaker.

Actually, this system has been very positively reviewed. Where did you hear them? Perhaps the dealer doesn't have them set up for best sound, and we'd like to find out.

This product has only been out a few months. There is no indication of amp failure whatsoever.

These are not computer speaker, but a surround system for your home theater meant to be used with a receiver. There should be no comparison with the Z 5500, which are computer speakers.

This 5.1 surround sound seems pretty expensive compared to the logitech z 5500, but this system has a whole new class:) me like. 5/5 *
