Yeah but Simon is totally against the idea of an American remake and is apparantly furious they could rip it off. Him and Jessica wrote it so Im sure they could stop it somehow?? Well if you go to Simons official page theres a letter hes posted about Spaced, he said he cant stop them remaking it etc and he doesnt mind as the actual plot is very vague one to use i.e 'couple pretend to be an item to get flat' sort of thing. What he said hes pissed about is that the people who are wanting to do the remake never contacted him yet theyre using him and Edgars name as a selling point and not mentioning Jessica at all.
