I am thinking of getting a 27 for a CCW/Back up question I have is do you think the glock 22 mag will have same reliability as the 23 mags. I saw Nutn's vid with the 26 using the 17 mags. Just wondering if maybe the larger caliber helps with the reliability, or if maybe it is just the amount of pressure placed on the mag by the users pinky finger. Thanks
@ACrawford36 Can't speak for the 22 mags as I've only tried the 23 mags. I can say this, my 23 mags haven't been 100% in the 27. I have got the grip extension as I've heard this helps with reliability issues. I've been out shooting once. So far so good. But I need many more rounds before I feel comfortable with it.
Wow, probably one of the most charasmatic and non-boring gun reviews EVER! If you reviewed a lot of guns like this, you could surpass nutinfancy by far and, I believe, you could compete with FPS Russia.
The Glock 27 really looks like a sweet gun. It a compact, which I have a compact gun. Great for concealment. Mine is a 9mm vrs your 40mm. I do owe a 40 mm, different brand and it's full size. Like the sights of it. You have almost convinced me to get the Glock 27 and my gun dealer has two of them. Now he has one and is holding one for me. If it feels right in my hand, them it's mine. Thanks for the video.
Nice shooting and nice new gun bro. I have the Glock 19 and Glock 21... My next buy is the Glock 27. I've tried out a friend's and it's definitely a punchy little package. Punchy and little in a good way.
For what it is worth, I bought a 17 and 22 in GEN 4 when they first came out and ZERO problems. I own a GEN3 26 and just ordered a GEN 4 27. Nutn made a big deal about a very minor issue with the spring in the 17 in his SHOT video, but did no actual testing himself.
We have had no problems with GEN 4, the texture is nicer, the grip is nicer and so is the mag release. The problem is availability. :)
Great gun. Awesome vid. Very cool to be able to hike out and shoot with privacy. Thanks for sharing! looking forward to seeing you vid on this vs. gen 4.
That was awesome, dude. Hilarious intro! You know what though? It was unique, because it was your unique perspective, and our first look at your first shots. I've really enjoyed my 26. I feel like it's a great carry size for CCW, and for hiking. The added Umph of the .40 cal on that 27 makes it all the more useful. Also, I hear you can swap barrels and mags and make it a 9mm for target practice!
@TheLateBoyScout I've thought about doing that with my G23. Sure would be nice to shot the 9mm ammo price. I've also thought about purchasing the .22 conversion for it as well. I just need to win the lottery so I can buy ammo whenever I want. Maybe I'll just buy a mfg plant and get my ammo for free while making some coin off the plant. Hey that's an idea. Off to buy a lottery ticket.
Fun fun fun. So nice to see a "serious" shooting vid. Love your sense of humour, and your taste in guns and sunglasses. Liked it so much I'm subscribing :)
Love the tongue in cheek, and the precision review - umph vs. the uummph of a 10 mm, lol. Like someone else said, I was waiting for the "day out shooting - priceless." And I chuckled, because I was just wondering what knife you were carrying when the annotation came up.

That must be your non Licensed concealed carry weapon. I refuse to pay for my rights. A wise man once said you gotta do what you gotta do. Thanks N....
"If my target cooperates." Lol Ya know CrOcket, if your target IS cooperating maybe you don't need to shoot it.
I went looking for ammo last night (9mm) and I started thinking maybe I should have bought a .40, the 9mm is always totally gone and there's always a shelf full of .40. But I found some 9mm Magtech FMC for $.20 per round online so I bought bulk.
@conleytgn That is one good thing about the .40 vs the 9mm. It's kinda like that here too. Easier to find the .40 than the 9mm. I like to buy the 100 round white box (cheapest I've found in this area), but even that is hard to find lately. Been looking for a couple of weeks now to replace what I've shot lately but have not been successful. Man I remember the days when we would pick up shells on the way out.
Crocket, I purchased a G23c last year and LOVE IT TO DEATH! I shoot it extremely well and it has had zero malfunctions of any sort throughout about 800rds I've put through it to date.
You know..... Glock has factory 22 round mags for our .40s I run the 22s, the G22 15 rounders and my factory 9 rounder with a +2. I also run speer gold dots and winchester ranger T ammo. If you ever get an extended slide release, make sure you don't bump your thumb onto it as you shoot it because you can get the slide to lock back lol.... took me a while to figure out why my slide would lock back... I freaked out man lol I thought I found a flaw with my glock....
(last video clip) You're an animal : ) Nice to see you finding the time just to get out for some hiking, shooting & video making. Man I know how time gets away from us & sometimes getting out like this becomes a rare thing.
Sweet little gun brother. The Glock system is hard to beat.
@CampfireTalk Couldn't decide whether to go hiking or shooting. Well I took the best of both worlds. Starting to get more rare here too with the way work...ahem I mean the search for milk is going.
HAHHA great vid bro, had me smiling from the start all the way thru to the end, MD drink of champions!! man that looks such a sweet lil pistiol and very "uumph" manageable (great term that one!) esp in .40, beautiful area and u got lov tossers that leave rubbish behind grrr, again top vid thank you for taking us along brother, stay safe and have a grand weekend!
@TheDishD So far I'm really liking the gun. It has become my new edc gun. Very light and comfortable to carry. Get this, I paid about $25 for it. After selling my other gun and purchasing the G27, that was the difference. Hardly any money out of pocket.
@Cr0cket20 0.o i just fell of my chair reading ur reply brother, $25!! geez a G17a is $850 here! dam bro good buy! very glad that ur stoked with mate, take care

Looked like you were having a fun day! Oh and its about time someone posted a vid of a guy shooting a Glock, man ive been looking everywhere, thanks! lol )
Great film work, Cr0cket. It may seem simple to you, but your vids just flow, and they're always a pleasure to watch. I'm going to top this exciting vid by showing...............my cats. That's right, a video of my two cats. They may even appear together and do funny cat things. I may be getting a little ahead of myself, but it COULD HAPPEN.
Got the same one GNS and everything. Muzzle flip suprisingly less than you would think! It feels like a full size gun, even though it's smaller... if that makes sense...
Great vid Crocket, i always take a pistol out with me when i go hiking. i have been thinking about a 27 for myself. i have the glock 20 and 29, same philosophy you were going for with 23/27, and those are a nice combo but 10mm is not the most fun in the world to shoot in a compact and it is a little spendy. thanks again for the great vids, and have fun.
lol umph I describe many things with technical terms, you know I have been tossing around a 21sf for a little bit now and I think I am going to do it, whatever happen to your older Glock that had magazine catch problems from the slide wearing? Don't remember ever hearing more about that?
@TNPviewer Are you talking about the magazine hanging up in the gun or the slide stop issue (when slide locked back and I insert mag slide slings forward)?
Very funny and entertaining my friend. I've had my eye on a Glock 27 for some time now. It's small and light and could work for me in a number of situations. CCW, home defense and hiking. It's a decent caliber for the weight. Good shooting and good belch!
@SnowLobo95 Thanks Snow. I figured a good belch to end it would just top things off. So far I like the gun. Just returned from another shoot trip with it recently. So far so good.
Nice vid cr0cket.. Reminds me of going out with buddies and shooting too.. Actually looking at the 26 currently. Wanted to add a 9mm to the stable. How's the ergos with the 27?
@V1GiLaNtE I'll be honest, I like the ergos of the XD(m) line better. However, it's not a show stopper for me with the Glocks. The one thing that I kind of notice so far is the palm swell. On the G23 I don't notice it so much. However, when I shoot the G27 it doesn't seem to be an issue. Just kinda forget about it I guess. Knowing what I know now, I would still buy it.
Do you find the glock 27 to be a bit small for your hands? The 27 always seems like it has a lot of muzzle flip, packing a .40 caliber into a frame that small.
Hi Crocket! I was wondering which Manix 2 you were using?
